A week in the Benelux countries, started by taking Eurostar to Bruxelles and then to Luxembourg for two nights. I did lots of travelling on CFL and then went north via Liège to Rotterdam where I stayed a few nights. Next day I spent most of the day taking photos at Gilze-Rijen in the blazing heat! Next day I did a few hours of phots at Utrecht station where there was plenty of shade. As clouds were forecast I went to Groningen via Zwolle and did the branch to Delfzijl and then to Leeuwarden to do both the Harlingen Haven and Stavoren lines. Next day I returned to Luxembourg and did the hauled turn to Volmerange-les-Mines in the evening. The following day I was in Differdange and Pétange area taking photos and later in day I went to Audun-le-Tiche and then Virton before returning to Luxembourg. On my way back home I had a few hours at Hasselt which was quite busy with freight before taking Eurostar home
