Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

It was time for another Covid escape to where we were able to travel around and I managed to get the last few days of the Czech Summer ticket as well. I flew from EMA to Łódź and took a train to Warszawa for one night. I bought a Weekend Max ticket. Made my way to Poznań next day and had some of the new Griffin power coming into service and one night at Gniezno. I went south to Zabrze via Wrocław next day and then into Czech Republic via unusual route on the Monday morning. I picked up two Vectron winners and the “new” 1216.9 before making my way to Praha for two nights. A failed attempt to get 363.050 at České Budějovice but I got one new 210 at Rybník. Next day I had a 111 and two new 754’s at Hradec Králové and then two nights at Olomouc. After a new 750.07 at Zabreh na Moravě I then had a 754 to Uherský Brod and then another from Brno later. Into ZSSK next day and time to make good use of my free travel as over 62 and so to Kosice tor two nights. Next two days were the hauled “summer” trains to Slavošovce and Muráň, the first was winning 754.004. On the Sunday I took a bus from Muráň to Tisovec and back to Zvolen for a night. Then moved on to Bratislava for four nights and did stuff from there for few days. The Saturday was the last of the three “summer” branches from Košice but we found a DMU at Dobšiná, not a good result! Next day into Poland via the weekend train from Plaveč - Muszyna and I finished off with an eight day PKP InterRail in the Poznań and then Gdynia areas. Then to Berlin and Flix to the Ruhr for one night and then finally south to Stuttgart for my final night and flight back home from Baden-Baden
