Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A short visit to Germany as there were a few diversions and added work under the wires for 232s, and a few were still around with old cooling fans for real Ludmilla sounds. I flew from Stansted with KLM UK to Frankfurt/M and then up to Bonn for NZ1549 to Magdeburg with 103 power. It was then a day on 232s around Aschersleben and then Gera and Weimar before a 101 to Frankfurt/M. Back east on D451 with 103 power to Leipzig Hbf and then a 234 turn via Falkenberg to Görlitz. Then to Halle and cover two top’n’tail 232s were out on double deckers between Halle (Saale) Hbf and Großheringen, and I picked up new howling 232.663 in the process. I made my way to Berlin on the weekend train from Wernigerode and then with 232 power to Stralsund as the wires were off due to electrification work around Eberswalde. Back south with the same 232 and back to Angermünde to cover two more turns to Tantow and back. Another 232 to Schwedt and then another back to Berlin and I took 103 power on relief D13979 to Dortmund and naturally 103 power back east again. Covered some 232s and 219s around Aschersleben and Erfurt and the EC56 to Frankfurt/M and my flight back home
