Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

I started a six day trip mainly to Hungary for the total eclipse of the sun and then some riding around Germany on 103s and Kolomna power. I flew to Wien and then straight to Budapest. The special train ran from Budapest-Józsefváros to Röszke with M61 power and back with mostly small locos that Ferenc got his hands on, plus a few bits of rare track. Next day I slowly crossed Austria via the Westbahn and ended up in München for D1504 overnight to Dresden. The train was diverted via Falkenberg and took the link between the high to low level lines then ran round, down table 216, round Riesa avoider, and along the river from Coswig into Dresden. I return to Weimar and then a day in Halle and Halberstadt area and then to Berlin and D318 to Saßnitz Fährhafen and straight back out to Griefswald and then a busy day doing 232 power on the UEx to Wolgast Hafen and going crazy getting photos of ex Soviet industry Kolomna TE109-026 at Stralsund on its way to Altenbeken. I took the UEx to Bochum for NZ1549 back east on Magdeburg and Halle. 103 power from Eisenach to Hamm and to Düsseldorf and flight back home
