Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A pre Christmas trip started using a big combination of various tickets. I flew with Ryanair to Leipzig/Halle to get in a new airport and stayed in Halle one night. I used a DB free ticket the next day mainly travelling around on 146.5 and then ICE to Erfurt for two nights. The Sunday was the now annual trip to Goslar via Seesen with regular 132.334 which sounded better this time. I returned to Wernigerode and did the steam down to Nordhausen and the Ludmilla back to Erfurt. I then had a ČD web ticket which I used as far as Kolín and then one night in Praha. On to Plzeň the next day and some rare (silent) 754 track from Cheb - Karlovy Vary. Did some new track direct to Mariánské Lázně and back to Plzeň. Another ČD web ticket next day to Neuenburg (Baden), shame I had to suffer awful 612 junk to Nürnberg. At least 120 power was good to Stuttgart and to Karlsruhe. Got two new 146.2 easily next morning and then to Mulhouse and two of the Strasbourg diesels. Did the third the next morning and after some Sybics I took 15005 on the IC ÉCO to Paris, however it terminated Nancy due to derailment so a staggering TGV instead. Local Paris moves and a trip to Abbeville next day and then overnight to La Tour de Carol and on to Barcelona for one night. Left on the Tuesday via classic AVE 100 to Montpellier and then IC to Marseille for three nights. Started a one month global InterRail on the Wednesday so down to Nice and picked up two new Thello 36000s. On the Thursday a day on the Bordeaux IC trains and an out and back to Toulouse with winners each way and a new 22RC later also. The Friday was simply a case of heading to Nice (another winner airport) for flight back home
