Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

Another ten day trip started with a flight to Budapest where I started an eight day European East Pass ticket, I took the train to Győr for my three night stay. Next day the star attraction was the summer 232 turn from Szombathely - Keszthely even better as it was on lovely ex ÖBB stock. I did a similar move the net day but joining and leaving the train at Celldömölk. Early on the Saturday morning I went up to Budapest to pick train 1972 which was booked M62 traction from Szabadbattyán and after doubling back then got on the M61 turn although the loco was not sounding as good as it should do. Once back in Budapest I went over to Keleti where my last 350 was on EN476 to Bratislava. Next day I went over to Břeclav and then spent most of the day in the Zábřeh na Moravě, Olomouc, Bohumín area before returning to Bratislava via Česká Třebová and Brno. Back to Brno next morning and a run of three new 380s before going to Wiener Neustadt and a run of three new 1144s and then to hotel near Wien West for two nights. After an early trip to St Pölten for a new 1144 I went to Graz and managed another five winners and then back to Wien. Next day was on the Westbahn and a couple more new 1144 picked up and then to München for one night. On the Thursday first I went to Lindau and then to Stuttgart and on to Frankfurt picking up two "Wiener Lokalbahn" liveried 182s in the process. A quick trip to Darmstadt for two new ÖBB 1116 and then to Frankfurt Flughafen for my 767 power back to Heathrow
