Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A twelve day trip to Germany, Belgium, Austria and Denmark started off with a flight to Düsseldorf. I went straight to Köln Hbf to cover EC49 and succeeded in getting large SNCB 1801 on the front for the run to Dortmund. I then went to Hamburg and straight into east and to Stralsund to cover possible 242 turns, both 001 and winner 004 in action. Back to Hamburg and down to Liège for a Mons - Gerolstein tour with a pair of SNCB 60s on the front and then to Saarbrücken and overnight to Berlin for a full day there. Next day did the 1245 turn from Hieflau to Eisenerz. Up to Wien for 103 to Nürnberg and some moves around Reichenbach and then to Leipzig and an intense two day 232 bash in Erfurt area armed with all the diagrams. North to Flensburg and MY turn to Fredericia and rest of day at København and overnight to Hamburg and a 232 back to Puttgarden and over to Randers for rail day, MY 1101 and MX 1001 on a special to Hobro. "Nord Express" to Münster and covered 218s on Bielefeld - Paderborn diversions and a 228 to Altenbeken and a quick visit to Oberhausen depot and then flight back home
