Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A ten day trip to Austrian, Slovenia & Croatia started with a flight to Graz. I stayed first night at Poljčane and then spent most of the day taking photos at Rakek. It was then time to start the PTG Rail Wonders of Croatia tour which started from Ljubljana. The first day was the long trek to Split (via curve avoiding Zagreb). After a night there it was north to Zadar via a short visit to the Port at Šibenik Luka. Back at Knin next day the train went into the depot and then north to Zagreb for a night. It was then all the branches of table 12 taking us to Harmica, Ðurmanec, Gornja Stubica and Golubovec and on to Koprivnica via Varaždin. Next day we continued via Križevci, Bjelovar and Kloštar and the freight line from Bizovac - Belišće and to Osijek for a depot visit. We then became first passenger train from Erdut - Bogojevo for many years and had a great welcome in Serbia. It was then on to Vukovar and Vinkovci for night. Moved on via Novska and photos at the bridge at Jasenovac then via Sunja to Volinja and Dobrljin and then to Zagreb via a Gredelj works visit and tour of freight lines on our way to Koprivnica. The final day saw us go to from Koprivnica to Gyékényes for an M62 to Murakeresztúr and then to Varaždin for lunch and a depot visit prior to our return to Slovenia and two 644 hauled special trains with side of a block between Kidričevo and Pragersko. Next day I made my way back to Graz for flight home
